HHHhhhhheeeeellllllppppppp

Just gone to fit the brake/clutch pipes and I think the P-clips are way to small.

They do not fit over the cables at all and if you force them they go completely out of shape and are no longer a P but more of a O.

Is this normal??

Cheers

I noticed that also. You can buy larger clips from most speed shops.

I am trying to remember which bag I "borrowed" some from to avoid the special trip out to pick them up....

I believe there are some that fit in the wiring loom bag. You can replace them later...

Here in the States, those are readily available at Home Depot or Lowes. (home improvement stores) Most anyplace you can pick up electrical supplies should have them...

Cheers guys,

Just come in from a fairly unsuccessful evening

3 jobs started (loom, batt, brake lines) with 0 finished.

I did find a few 1/4" clips in the wiring bag as you say.

Also found the rivets to short when fixing the batt/brake cables.

Nevermind, this is the only way we learn!

A good supply on long shank rivets is essential for the this sort of thing. Whilst you get them for the body fitment, it's not unusual to be trying to rivet through several layers of material especially when fitting p-clips etc.

Thanks, the issue/concern I had was that the clutch line needs 1/4" clips but comes supplied with 3/16" which are way to small.

I will order some 1/4" items today.

Cheers

Ah, there's my problem.

I have 2 bags of 3/16" clips, one from the brake kit and the other in the clutch kit.

I've ordered some from Merlin now to resolve.
