Following on from this thread:

What current cars do you reckon we'll look back on in 20 or 30 years time as great cars? Not necessarily super-cars or mega expensive stuff, just cars we all remember being everywhere or we'll look back on and realise they were really good at the time (and don't everyone just post cars from the 80's and 90's again hehe )

I can't think of a single new car I like, but cars that seem to be everywhere are:

I can only dream of the day when a decent spec manual M135i in good condition can be picked up for sub 6k hehe

All I can add is I hate the Qashqai Juke type boxes. Which probably means everyone else likes them.
Dacia Duster is a future classic.

I don't think we will like any modern cars aside from very expensive ones - (v12 astons, Rolls Royces and the like). Modern cars lack driver involvement and are over complicated and unreliable frown

You can find a bloke to weld an e type, but will anyone in 40 years be able to deal with the BMW I drive - I doubt it.

Qashqais will have disappeared completely in a few years.

They are the ultimate white goods car, and not the kind of thing anyone will ever think to cherish.

Anyone think the current RS Renaults might? I'm sure the R26R from a few years ago will be, but what about anything later?
