Hi all, I'm about to replace all the tyres on my 450, as the car has only done a measly 13k miles you can see I don't do a lot of miles, it will not be doing any track days nor am I really worried about ultimate performance at the extreme limits! What are your thoughts on Uniroyal rain sport 3 or Avon ZV5? I would love to go to what the car had on as original equipment bridgestones but unable to get the same patern front and rear, I am 225/50/zr/16 and 205/55/zr/15 . Any thoughts on other brands would be welcome. Thank you

I've always fitted Toyo Proxes T1Rs and been very happy, you need to inflate them about 2psi more than the Bridgestones to counter the slightly softer sidewalls.

Im getting new rear tyres sooon and going for the rainsport 3's. The price is superb on camskill and I haven't heard a bad review.

If you're an all-weather Chim driver then Rainsports would be a very good choice. My daughter has them on her MX-5 Sport, so about the same weight as the Chim, albeit with less grunt (though she doesn't hang about). I don't think you'll find anything more sure-footed in the wet, and they grip well in the dry too.
