“New“ flicker, 9 months on...
Discussion
My Pro subscription which I've had for 5 years is about to expire.
This will be the first time I've needed to renew since the upgrade.
What's the general consensus now it's been up and running? Is it still worth the $25 a year, or does the free account offer enough?
Are other previously Pro users still Pro, or have you migrated to a free account or one of the new style paid account?
I do like looking at the stats, but to be honest, I don't think they mean a great deal, and I've not processed/uploaded anything for ages.

king autocorrect! Obviously I mean Flickr!I didn't renew my pro subscription. As said above there's loads of storage without it now, the only thing you lose is the stats and I don't care about those.
I might be in the minority on here, but in general I think the 'new' Flickr is a big step forward. I certainly like how it's so much easier to scroll through the new images posted by your contacts now.

Same. Didn't renew.
I like the stats but they are basically the only reason to keep me paying - so I didn't.
On the new layout - it's ok I guess. Still amazed it takes so long to scroll a page though, other sites seem to manage better.
Would say that by traffic numbers are up significantly on the old site though. Whether that's due to more general flickr traffic or more people finding photos on the site is difficult to say (particularly since I dont have stats any more

BT has or will be emailing you about moving your BT Yahoo Mail to BT Mail. Once that move has been made you'll no longer be able to log in to Flickr using your BT Yahoo email address and password.
To keep your existing Flickr ID and all your pictures, you must move your Flickr account to an alternative Yahoo ID.

You remember that b4 the change it was said that if you didn't renew, you didn't lose your older pics, you could regain them buy renewing later?
Now the new version is here with 1Tb of space, I've still not got my old pics back, which is a pity. It is v slow, and I haven't paid, but my account is add free, which is nice.
Oh and I think the interface is odd - seem to spend a lot of time looking for things.
