New to the Forum and AM ownership. Took the plunge with a 2009 V8V roadster last September. PH been an invaluable source of info since.
As required photos of my baby

Photos were taken when I picked the car up from detailers.

I am now looking at having the wheels refurbed. A friend has recommended the wheel specialist in Manchester. Has anybody any experience of this company?

Try JD Alloys in Cannock - they've done my Porsche wheels twice (wife loves those kerbs), and my local AM Dealer are also now using them as the Company they normally use did a very poor refurb on my DB9 that I purchased last October as the finis 'flaked' off within 4 days.

Cost is about £60.00 a wheel but they refurb the whole wheel and not just the face - took them 3 days to do mine.

Hope that helps

I've had 2 sets done at the wheel specialist in Birmingham, and recently had a set done at the wheel specialist in Elesmere Port....

No problems with any of them....but I well say the Elesmere port guys were particularly helpful.

Tyburn road.... They can do it in a day, but I usually drop my wheels off and collect a few days later...

Have you had any difficulty with the tyre sensors when the tyres are refitted. My only problem with my car so,far has been this and now, that it seems to be working correctly I don't want to upset the system again

When the they did my AM wheels in Birmingham, they were extremely careful with the TPS. I asked the chap to put a bit of copper grease on all the fixings when he fitted them back up, and never had a single TPS problem...

And again when I was at the Elesmere workshop, they were doing an X5 and it was reassuring to see the care they take with sensitive electronic bits....smile

I've used the wheel specialists in Manchester. They did an excellent job (complete wheel not just the outside).
