When this forum was a place where you would drop in for a laugh, bit of banter....seek advice maybe offer some.

Unfortunately now it is descending into a verbal battleground.

Not what it used to be like in here, and some seem to get off on that fact.

But that's been happening on the internet allover, we've all heard how the 'trolls' have been using it to abuse,bully and generally act in a complete antisocial manner, but oh they change when confronted face to face.

Cheers wooly. Really there are some that seem to take gratification from just being clowns. I am up for a laugh as are most others on here as you say, but the minority seem intent on dragging this forum to their very sad low level of manners and inelegance. Better off without them I say.

Yeah me too although I don't have my 400 anymore. As has been said though it's the way the world is going.

Can I be confused by the opening statement ?

I didn't think it was THAT bad, but I guess some of the banter could be misunderstood as abuse ?
I always try to stick to tech info type stuff, and make any jokes or banter VERY clear ...

I agree, but some people mainly use the forum just to stir hornets nests up . Just my opinion mind you..... Could be wrong as I have been plenty of times in the past.

That is something I can wholeheartedly agree with - We should all be able to express our opinion freely ... BUT ... just as that, an honest opinion.

I haven't personally experienced it on this forum, but have on another.

I'm looking for a mint example of a particular classic car, but because I won't go straight out and buy a car they recommend that doesn't meet my personal taste and/or standard I've been branded as none genuine, and by a regional rep too!! Then someone else trying to lower my expectations of what a concourse car is??

Bad show! I'd have hoped for more help and support than that!

I now just view the forum and rarely if ever comment, it's not worth it.

I also know a few guys that are giving the forum a wide berth, which again is a shame. On remembering, I remember my first wedge and thinking this, as in the whole package is going to be fun. But it is not panning out that way as of late.

Thing is Trickie we know there are some very nice sincere people on this forum also, and united we can rise above the flailing attempts to just be disruptive in everything some do.
