When did PH start to charge all members for the classifieds? wasn't bit once free if you'd been registered for a certain amount of time?

Unless the date has been changed, only members who joined before Jan1st 2009 qualify. So you don't get free ads, sorry.

aah damn it, i had a user from before that date, but didn't use it for ages and forgot the log in details an don't use that email address any more......

Sorry to hijack the thread for my own issue but could an admin type person check my joining date too? I'm trying to post an ad and it's asking for money but I'm sure I joined before 2009.

You joined on the 28th of January 2009. In future, you can check the date you joined by looking in your profile.


I'm not an admin type person, nor am I a mod. I just happen to frequent Website Feedback, and decide to help other members where I can.

You might of joined at the time with another profile, and for some reason you created another profile a year later. A mod might be able to tell you if you do have an earlier profile.
