RIGHT any ideas why my fto grinds and howls
GRIND only occurs in gear and same pitch in every gear only under acceleration. Itvspeeds upbwithvrevs in gear. JACKED the car up put it in gear and the noise dissapears. It gets worst accelerating round corners
Howl is when turning at low speed. Like only heard when parking the car
Mot says play in front wheel bearing. Is this likely to be causing most of my problems

my clutch release bearing is a little noisy when cold but fine afterwards and i have an alternator whine too amongst many other things but the two issues above are my main concern

AM GOING TO A GARAGE TOMORROW but wanted peoples opinions

Diff/driveshafts are where I would look first - is an FTO front or rear wheel drive?

My advice would be to take it to a garage tomorrow.
