campsites near airports/ ports ?

Just starting to plan this years motorhome trips . wouldn't mind afew days near an airport/portfor a bit of plane/boat watching....I do like a bit of movement on the horizon while sat under our awning :-)...any recommendations ?

Well there's always Donnington park farm house campsite.
Right under the flight path for East Midlands airport, Donnington circuit access and the museum.
Also the camping and caravan club site at Tregurian bay is near a military air base and you can watch the surfers and sail boarders.

where i ride my bike there is a field which seems to be used a lot by different camping clubs,

its quite close and parallel to the runway at Manchester airport

near a nice village pub as well, and a national trust cotton mill

Wyatts Covert CC site is right next to Denham Aerodrome, near Gerrard's Cross.
