Cheers guys.
Alderton services list parts for the austin 10hp is that the same car/engine?
Excuse my ignorance but this is my first austin and I was given it, so I've not done any research on the car.
Thanks again.
You'd need to be sure of the era of Austin 10 they're referring to in their adverts. I *think* the 10/4s of the early '30s differed engine-wise to those built either side of WW2, ie like yours. First there were the chrome-rad 10/4s (1932-34 iirc), followed by the 10/4 Lichfield (painted rad surround), then the Cambridge (c1937/1938), followed by your type, the GS1, with the rear-hinged one-piece bonnet, which was produced before and after the war.
