Ok for sure the Audi passenger punching the cyclist is inappropriate but a big part of me can't help but feel that the cyclist brought it on himself by overreacting to the car moving forward at the first set of lights.

Furthermore it does amuse me when non-villains behave in such a pious vigilante-esque way on the street and get more than they bargained for!

If you yank the tiger's tail, make sure you have something for the teeth!

Btw I cycle approx. 100 miles per week in Central London and enter the congestion charging zone in my car approximately twice per week so I have no bias towards cyclists or motorists...

What do you think? Did the cyclist get his comeuppance for overreacting to the motorist or was he completely within his rights to pursue the Audi driver and swear at him?

personally it amuses me when people moan about how our culture is all 'me me me' and how nobody lifts a finger to help an old woman being mugged, but when someone calls a moron with no impulse control in control of a machine implicated in more deaths than just about any other for a blatant offense, it's funny to see them hit.

Maybe that's just me.

saw this video earlier and looks to me that the audi driver is just a tt. getting in marked area where there are cyclists, if you want to get past bikes then wait until you have space to do so.

cyclist shouldnt have provoked the driver, driver shouldnt have hit the cyclist. i personally avoid confrontation of any kind.

If he gets charged with assault, the cyclist should answer to the section 5 public order offences he's committed - if I was driving that Audi, I'd find his behavior intimidating and therefore criminal.
