Anyone have a 200bhp zetec?
Discussion
Scott,
I converted my '93 Supersprint to Zetec power, initially with carbs and then a year later to TBs. It runs circa 190bhp/167lbs/ft. Runs like an absolute dream, gets used for blats, touring and sprinting/hillcimbing. Smooth power delivery. More info here and here. Managed 10k miles to date and a vast improvement over the old x/flow.
It's not the lightest engine out there, in fact it may even be very slightly heavier than the x/flow. However, it's not a heavily stressed engine and hence should be pretty bullet-proof.
