He spent the weekend with Bennno, so he's prob trying to keep up with the number of car changes - blue Fezza maybe.

Seriously though, I remember Flasher seemed keen on an Ultima so Matt may be right.

Come on Flash, spill the beans.

nothing wrong guys....I'm just considering my options. I can have a company car or take the allowance on offer, but that means getting something I can use every day.....and a Tamora doesn't quite seem a car to commute in....

We now have the wifes Merc SLK too..... I know it's not a TVR but it's a nice motor...

I also want to buy a villa in Cyprus.....thanks for the concern chaps...

Flasher - you'll soon be without at TVR then what's going on thought the Tamora was the biggest grin inducing thing on 4 wheels, (well to come from Blackpool at least !!) the most usable TVR and all that, guess that's not the case huh?.......

I still stand by all of what I said. It is the most usable TVR out there, but I don't think the running costs of 30-35,000 miles a year would do it(or my bank balance) any good, do you? Or are you just plain daft???
It's also part of my finance agreement and insurance that I don't do more than a certain mileage in any calender year and can't use it for business purposes.

So add that to the possible servicing costs of £3,500 a year minimum if I did 30,000 miles then you realise that I just couldn't use for work. I will seriously miss it's performance and fun and whatever I buy it won't have the same effect as the Tamora in any way. But I will have another one , one day....

it's the best built TVR I have owned by a country mile and I'm going to miss it...

No, something sporty but practical, cheap to run (service wise) and that can take heavy mileage....

Haven't made my mind up yet......but definitley not a BMW,or any Diesel whatsoever....

Seat Ibiza TDi130 (serious suggestion). You can get an import for £11300 all-in. Had a Fabia TDi100 for a while as a runabout, WAS a fun car in a different way. Honest!!

Sorry to see you're suspending your club membership, Andy. I must admit, I've been toying with the idea of a holiday home - I fancied a villa on the Algarve - the holiday rental market is year-round, and it's good for families - it is possible to make a reasonable profit, too. But I'm not sure I could take the step of selling the Tamora, especially as it's gone in today for respray, removal of the black bits, and body colour to the rear undertray. (Only £70 for the latter!)

It's not just hankering after a Noble, is it?

Thanks Russ, but I'm looking at a Merc SL, CLK, Boxster S, Audi S4, TT, Jag XK 8 etc, etc.... all cars that will give me performance and possible high mileage...lets face it high mileage TVR's are awkward to sell unless they are bargain prices, and I don't want to wreck my Tamora by thrashing it up and down the motorway all year round...

I love my Tamora (and I still might keep it ) but I don't fancy a huge tax bill for having a company car and am considering my options.... the bonus is that my Tamora is in a superb colour, was well built because it was one of the first dealer demo cars, and it has a full spec with 18" wheels etc. someone will get the benfit, even if I don't anymore....

Flasher don't be a daft prick, I didn't start by insulting you, so why reply with an isult ?? . Try getting out bed the other side, or maybe it the thought of selling the Tamora that caused you to lose your sense of humour ??.......

Flasher, if you want Boxster S info then mail me off line. My missus is well chuffed with hers (and has made recent murmurs with the words "Hayward" and "Scott" so a new exhaust might be on the cards)
