Hi,

Quick question, need to get this dent sorted, should we have it repaired or replaced? I think due to the proximity to the wheel arch itself it would be easier to replace it with a good salvaged wing, but what do you think?

Easy repair for a panel beater/body shop.

I thought wings were quick and easy to change, has to be quicker than getting someone to pull it and sort it musn't it???

It has to be painted either way so save the labour cost and just chnage in my view.

You could do either... I have replaced bolt on Front Wings before to customer cars...after they have been sprayed by a trade buddy of mine...obviously many rear wings are not bolt on and need cutting off or knocked out etc...
With a bolt on Front you can get away with not "losing" the car for more than an hour or so (model dependent)

Any idea what it would cost to beat out and paint?

I've been offered two wings so far, one at £45 locally at a breakers (in black and I damaged but paint condition unknown thus far) and one at £65 in black and in mint condition.

I can't see it being cheaper than that!
