E-type pics required

Hello chaps. My 64 (late -4.2 car) FHC is achingly close to driving about for the first time since 1975 (see below). One query is how the ratty heatshield fits next to the exhaust manifolds (the one that protects the brake fluid bottle etc). Mine was held on by cable ties, which while it accords with sensible engineering techniques, probably isn't right...

Anyone able to tell me how to fit it properly?
