Idly browsing due to possible potential new car and I just don't seem to be able to find what I want.

Audi estate (preferably A4), Quattro, black Sport heated leather, V6 petrol engine, manual, no turbos, £6k tops.

Can I find a one? Can I hell... Everything is either diesel, auto or small-engined turbo. Or cloth. Or the non-Sport leather.

Surely that spec shouldn't be that hard to find!?

I hadn't - there's a 2007 A4 3.2 Quattro S-Line on Trader at £7.5k but that's it really.

A little context - up until February last year I had a 1997 A4 B5 2.8 Quattro Sport Avant that I picked up for £250. It had heated sport full black leather, climate, a 2.8 V6 petrol engine with a manual 'box, factory sport suspension that still gave a great ride due to the sensible 16" wheels, and it was fantastic.

I'm trying to find a newer, nicer equivalent and I just don't seem to be able to!

It's a similar story with the BMW 330i.

Company car drivers all went for diesels and those enthusiasts buying with their own money went for the 'S' or 'M' cars, so the mid-range petrols didn't have a market.

It's a real pain - I mean, if I wanted a B5 S4 there's several to choose from, but I don't want the insurance, maintenance or parts prices that goes with them. What I really want is a B6 3.0 Quattro Sport Avant with a manual 'box and full black leather but it just doesn't exist frown
