Bl**dy Hell, can't go anywhere for a minute without everyone knowing what I'm up to.
Thanks for all the warm wishes everyone, I can feel the lovely glow from here
Just got in from Day 1 of the birthday celebrations.
Had a nice topless morning ( it stopped raining for a bit
),
Lunch at my daughter's, then off to Thursday Club for a lovely surprise party, followed by a nice Chinese takeaway, & a mug of Ovomaltine/ Radweld to help me sleep without leakage.
Tomorrow's itinerary is lunch at the Pasha ( my favourite! ), a few convivial pints of Trooper at the Bird in Hand, then a family get-together in the evening. ( I may have to cook if I'm still sober...yeah rite! )
Saturday: an evening with friends ( yes I still have some left! ), then (on Sunday? ) it's the Chinese New Year Celebrations in Manchester's Chinatown.
Fantastic atmosphere, a brilliant time guaranteed. Fireworks, fun, street food, & Yates's blobs to keep out the chill.
It's proper grim oop norf.....
Happy Birthday Damian & Joe, you both kept it very quiet that you were both born on such an auspicious day ........
The dawning of the Age of Aquarius.

Happy Birthday to Pyney as well, another nice fellow that used to own an S.
It seems the ForSe is strong with us Aquarians
I hope to be sober enough to drive again on Tuesday...... ish.
Kong hei fat choi ( or something like that! )
The Year of the Tiv !

Day 2 .
Subsequent to my earlier post, I've moved on to " The Yawning of the Aged Antiquarian" stage.

Kate Moss: only 2-day parties? Watch & learn!

There are so many fine ales & single malts out there & so little time.
It's amazing how many whiskies have my name on them.....
And I know the best way to avoid hangovers
