Well me really.

I had to disconnect the battery last night then like a div I shut the boot,

now I cant get in to re connect the battery. Does anyone know how to open it manually.

Never been inside one, but can you get in through the back seats then there should be a safety release lever? There is in my Jag, which also has it's battery in the boot, but then again, it also has a key lock hidden up underneath the rear plate lamps where you cant see it unless you're looking from below

The seats fold down in the rear, so you should be able to get in that way (not entirely sure on another release, but I'm about 200 miles away from ours!)

Managed to get in the boot from back seat and re attach the battery leads. God know what you have to do if you had actually removed the battery. You could never fit that from the back seats is the size of a house.

Too late now. But for reference.

Why not just hook up a battery or jump leads to the charge points under the bonnet?
