....Most annoying.

I've had my sonos play 1 and bridge turned off for a week or two.

Friends on the way over for the weekend.

Turned on bridge, turned on Play 1.

Open app on iPhone and when prompted I press the button on the bridge and.........nothing. "Your sonos component was not found"

Tried the same on the play 1.........nothing.

What am I doing wrong?? It worked perfectly last week!

Try rebooting your router.

I have installed some in a clients house and had this problem when setting up. The router was a BT HH3. After a reboot all was well, until he had a series of power cuts which caused the sonos to disappear.

Suggested procedure.

Reset router and wait until its ready for surfing the web.

power up the bridge and again wait for it to come online

Finally power up any players and wait.

Hopefully it will be ok.

Its very rare Sonos is at fault and it is usually the network equipment you are using

Could be vex but would the sonos controller not see the unit that's plugged in?
I was thinking the same but as the OP mentioned he can't see anything I thought it could be with the IP addressing from the router.

Thanks guys.

I turned everything off, and back on in the order suggested, and bingo.

All working fine again now.

Must have been a wifi HH3 clash or something.

I've had Sonos for a few years - never had a problem.

However since upgrading to BT Infinity with a HH5, there have been a couple of glitches. Dropped zones basically.

Rebooting and/or powering off the Sonos hub (the one connected to the router) fixes it.

Happens once a week I guess.
