Hyrdatrac was the optional one .. but it's fitted to the Cerb - which has no problems..
GKN was the early one .. can't remember the later one.
Think they both use either cones or plates..

It's a friction L S diff (don't know correct techie term), i.e. springs and clutches, as opposed to a hydraulic LSD.
