To avoid disappointment just try making your own via the many recipes online.
It'll be worth it.
Sharwood's - I didn't even know they still existed!
The power of branding is quite something!
Some of us can't cook though. Iv worked out a next best to a 'proper' indian, …aldi specially selected sauce, sharwoods naan, poppadoms & pickles, rice I'm still working on. A quick easy meal, not restaurant quality, but still enjoyable. It'll be worth it.

I just bought some Sharwoods vindaloo sauce from Sainsburys and it appears that they've changed label colours again. Noteworthy is that on my receipt it had 'SWOODS G VIND CURRY' so it could well be that Sharwoods decided to drop the Goan off the label.Has a best before date of apr15.

This. It started as plain Vindaloo, but curry folk aren't daft and quickly realised it didn't come close to their local curry house so sales dropped (and they weren't that great to begin with), so with a minor recipe adjustment it was re-branded and launched briefly as Goan Curry Sauce, then as Goan Vindaloo. That failed to some degree so the decision was made to simply revert to Vindaloo.
Incidently, this sauce came about from an in-house contest to see who could eat the hottest curry which could be made on site, the result was basically a tikka masala with a shed load of chilli powder (most of which was beyond normal date!). As one or two participants were from NPD (New Product Development) they somehow convinced those in ivory towers it would be a jape to produce it properly. I'm sure you could imagine the taste of it just from the description above.
