Is a low mileage 528i E39 'desirable'?
Discussion
Last year I purchased a 1 owner 1999 528i auto with 64,000 miles as a runabout for Winter. The car has lots of silly options like electric steering wheel, memory seats etc and apparently the ladies husband paid £34k for it when he bought it!
The car is beautiful and mechanically sound. The front and rear bumpers could do with a respray and there are a few parking dents in the side (London car) but the car has a full history.
As we are fast approaching March I'm now considering selling it. My question really is, are E39's with low mileage any more desirable than a high miler or are they just another shed? Is there a forum of E39 nerds who would get a hard-on about this car?
Not really being greedy. More interested in how quickly I can sell it!
