Taboola really annoying on mobile site too close to next

Finding the link to the Taboola advert highly annoying on the mobile site as it's so close to the next page button, seems exceptionally easy to accidentally press. Then it's also incredibly hard to minimise. Sure this is all on purpose to generate revenue but it is an under hand way of doing so.

Why not shift it to the other side of the page?
Does PH receive some remuneration for each time it is accidentally opened?
What is the reason for its presence at that particular part of the page?
