NB Mods: this isnt an advert...I dont have one to sell smile

- A brand new full body respray

- Full body off chassis restoration

- Immaculate interior c/w original wood veneer dash

- Genuine 56k on the clock, R Reg (1998)

- Oodles and oodles of receipts, history etc

Not an easy question to answer as a few other bits of info could be relevant - ie is it a dealer of private sale, any accident damage, etc. Also if the respray and chassis work is because the car had not been looked after then that would also affect the price.
I realise I'm not being helpful here but it could be anywhere from a private sale at maybe £15ish to some dealers who might be asking £20k and maybe more.

I'd go a bit higher - 18k.

I`d say to be realiatic 20K. From what you are saying though the car is as new so probably better than those that the dealers are offering. So with that in mind some may say more.

the above may be correct - my low £15k was very much worst case. Nice to see that Griff values are moving up I suspect ...

Thanks folks thumbup

What if said car had...

- Upgraded headlamp (7 inch) pods - as per the purple griffith on this link

http://www.motnailsea.co.uk/station_page.asp?pid=1...

- Full Leven accessories:- stalks; dash buttons; window buttons; door reflectors; gearbox surround etc etc

- Upgraded brakes - 6 pots on the front

- 18 inch wheels rear, 17 inch front - Silverstone Performance. As per...

http://www.pistonheads.com/tvr/default.asp?storyId...

- Other sympathetic mods such as upgraded Carl Baker alarm; magnetic boot release; fan switch override; Clive F heatshields;

What would this do to the price d'ya reckon?

If all work listed above has been done to a high standard at least £20k if car straight.

Add to that, the candles are behind tinted persplex. Tinted! Why?

Just polished mine up last night (as they are off the car due to respray), and was wondering if I should get clear ones in their place. I too am in to originality - waffling on this one.

Thanks thumbup

The reason I ask is that my old Griff (Jeffsy) is back in the country and requires some work done to it.

By assessing the values it helps to sharpen the focus on the return that can be made when it is sold.

I'm not buying it back btw frown

If its in the same condition it left the UK and has been well maintained then £20k ish seems realistic. Seem to recall it went to France for less than this.

Not sure of the relevance of this as I guess the market may have changed in 5-6 years!

Looks like £20 - £20+ seems the consensus
