And ended up buying a celica instead. I've wanted one for ages, the missus has also suggested buying one for ages. Despite my intention to buy a facelifted model we've agreed to buy a 2001 140 in metallic blue with 91k miles on it and a serious pile of service history.
I'm thinking if it was going to go pop it would have done by now so should be good for another few miles.
Just waiting for the dealer to get it mot'd and hopefully pick it up on Saturday.
There's a set of 18" alloys on it which I'll probably swap for the 17" alloys on the celica in my garage that's been gathering dust for the last few years.
