This is my 2004 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra. The paint color is Screaming Yellow and it is 1 of 299 with that paint color. That makes it the second rarest color behind Competition Orange at 281. I purchased the car back in July of 2011 and it has been a wild ride ever since. Her name is "Elizabeth" and she turns 10 years old March 10th lol.

Mods:
-Rebuilt/refreshed motor (bearings, rings, seals, etc)
-.020 overbore making it a 284 ci motor
-Forged crank, pistons, and rods
-2.3 TVS swap from a '13 Shelby GT500
-Lethal performance budget return fuel system
-60lb injectors
-Slot style MAF
-custom CAI built from an AIRAID U-build-it kit
-rebuilt T56 Trans
-Short throw shifter
-26 spline input shaft
-SPEC Stage 3+ clutch
-FRPP diff cover
-Full tilt boogie racing bushing kit for the IRS
-FR500 18x9 and 18x10 wheels
-Slotted rotors with Hawk pads
-Subframe connectors
-Eibach lowering springs
-Suede and leather interior upgrades
-and tons more that I am forgetting...

Now, on to the photos!

The car is currently on it's way across the big pond to join me here in the UK.

Always had a soft spot for these, would have to have mine in red though! hehe Lovely motor, any exciting plans for it once it's in the UK?

Speaking as a member of the Gran Turismo generation, that is a seriously nice example you have there. Love the shot of the engine bay. Please do keep the thread updated!

Thanks for the positive feedback guys. I got the pulley combo wrong and I'm only getting about 16psi which makes 620rwhp. When it gets here in the UK I will throw the bigger crank pulley on to make 19-21psi and around 650 to the rear wheels.

Really like these. Enough traditional Mustang styling cues but with a modern edge. Big V8 engines that I read are pretty bullet proof and make big numbers without much effort, manual box etc.. What's not to like? Seem like a lot of car for the money. I'm not a fan of the interior but your little touches make a nice difference. I wondered if anybody has ever done a dash swap, perhaps for an older model, or even the latest model, but can't find any evidence of it anywhere?

Love the look of these but the interior is too Sierra/Scorpio ie the look of all Fords from that era.

Liked it at the time when I hired one in LA but it was the early to mid 90s, so I didn't know any different biggrin

Really like these, some kicking about the web with some ridiculously noisy superchargers on em, they get approval from me on that alone!
I don't think I've ever seen this shape of mustang over here myself, and it's still a fairly modern looking car.

What a great car. Seems to be a very rare shape of Mustang here in the UK, and supercharged to boot. The noisier the charger the better imo.

I can agree that the interiors of the SN95(1994-2004) Mustangs are a tad dated. I plan to slowly improve mine with the addition of suede and leather. The seats in the Cobra are quite nice from the factory, it's just the rest of the interior that is lacking.

I've never seen any dash swaps IN TO the SN95's only in to the Fox Bodies.

I love, love, LOVE the blower whine. It has polarized me to the supercharger/turbocharger debate. While I know that turbos will make more power with less boost and are more efficient. There is something to be said about having instant power/boost and hearing that screaming blower under the hood!

I'll try to get some videos up of the car soon so you guys can hear it. The exhaust is quite loud as well!

I absolutely love the looks of these and nearly bought one a few years ago - however I couldn't live with the dash and the black interior felt too cramped for me.... Different dash and a tan/saddle leather interior I'd be all over that

Update: She has arrived! I snapped a few pics and took a quick little video. The video will be boring in the beginning for most of you guys here, but to everyone I know in the states it's weird to see someone drive on the LH side smile However, you should stick around for the end to see how easily the torque overpowers the 295/30/18 tires! OP, would you mind sharing with us how much the car set you back? That sound is just godly.

Coaster- I got it for $24,000. That was two years ago and I overpaid a little to get this color because it's the second rarest hue. You can get them for as low as $17,000 now.
