What car would you buy to run as a DD if someone else was paying for servicing, repairs and fuel? You would have to pay for the car, so it has to be something that you could reasonably afford.

I'm not really an SUV kind of guy but I can't think of a car that I would rather drive everyday, 365 days per year (would probably buy something else for hooning though).

Old-style FFRR Vogue with a petrol V8. Don't need the Supercharged one but maybe with some Overfinch suspension tweaks to improve on-road handling. Something like this (not too expensive to buy, just the running costs have always terrified me).

A G63 AMG would also be nice but too expensive or else a nice Jaguar saloon (XFR?) but it looks a bit too Lexusy.

If someone else was paying all the running costs, fuel, repairs etc. then a Bristol, Jensen or old school Bentley.

I need roof bars, a big boot and a tow bar, so it has to be a saloon/four seater for me sadly. The best car of that type I've driven is the E92 M3, so one of those please smile

If I didn't need the practicality then it'd be a Lotus Esprit V8, Porsche 968, 996TT or BMW Z4M.

I'd love to smoke about London in an immaculate 560 SEC. I could probably stretch to one, but having someone keep it in A1 condition would be nice.

That or one of these. Again, buying it is the easy bit...
