Classic Le mans - Anyone here had an entry confirmed yet ?
Discussion
I am fairly certain they are sorted in 3 tranches.
The first is generally includes cars that compete in the other PeterAuto Race events and rare cars of their marque / type that raced at Le Mans in class.
The second tranche can include cars that sponsors want to see racing e.g. BMWs etc. and cars of their marque / type that did not race at Le Mans in class, but would have been eligible.
The final tranche is for interesting cars that have not been included in the first two tranches.
Their aim seems to be quality, provenance and finally other eligibility criteria to make up the grids.
This is usually completed by the end of February (I think) My mate is similarly sweating on his entry having previously raced a couple of times before.
Good luck

Well our car is in the final tranche. You obviously have some past experience of this - is the meeting of the selection committee in February the last one - so all done by the start of March ??
