How much oil should my GT3 burn?
Discussion
Yep, mine never uses any.
I get the puff of smoke on start up occasionally but that always looks worse than it is anyway, with regard to the amount of oil used by it.
I have never had to top mine up between services. Neither did my mate who I bought it from. In fact it still has an unused 1 Litre bottle of Mobil 1 in the front, that was there when my mate bought it 6 years ago.
I run mine on Millers Motorsport now though.

The engine could be using oil but the oil lost to the engine is being made up by the build up of unburned fuel and water in the oil, these are from combustion by products.
You might want to have some oil analyzed to see what the water content is. These engines are rather cold blooded -- they take time to warm up fully and then they require tootling around town to get the engine (and engine oil) really hot to help boil off the unburned fuel and water.
