Has anyone on here hooked up a Vita to their PS4 for remote play? If so does it work as advertised? Also what's the range like?

I'm sorely tempted to buy a Vita just for the remote play. I'm thinking along the lines of being about to sit upstairs and turn on my PS4 which is downstairs to play a few games of FIFA or AC4. It'll also be good when my wife is watching TV and I want to hit a few games.

However I don't want to blow the best part of £180 on something if it has limited range. I want to be able to sit in another area of the house and use it rather than the same room (defeats the object). I also don't have any interest in Vita games as most are aimed at kids. I'm only interested in having one for remote play.

So any experiences would be appreciated smile

Should work fine but if you want I can test it for you and report back. My PS4 is downstairs and the bedroom is upstairs but I can't see why it wouldn't work.

As said above, its works via wifi. You could be 100 miles away and it would work as long as the connection is stable enough.

Excellent, thanks for the feedback!

I think I'll invest in a Vita then, as it sounds as if my fears of it not working are unfounded.

Cheers smile
