Noticed these seem quite good. 0-60 in 6.4seconds. Any inssues with the s tronic gearbox? Any known faults with the car?

Personally I'd go for a mk5 Golf GTI instead.

I've got the 2.0 TDI 170 S tronic and it's a great car

Did 106,000 miles over 4 years in an '06 manual version. Other than an early annoying electrical fault it was a good car.

Can't say it was exciting, but performance was OK (not the best MPG) but was a nice place to sit.

They are nice all rounders but quite expensive for what they are even on the used market. Also have the potential for some pretty big bills so make sure its been well looked after!
