Split fuel pipe
Discussion
Hi All,
I think last night (spent a couple of hours in the dark with my cheap torch when I got home from work last night) I managed to trace my latest missfiring issue
There are a couple of splits in the fuel hose that goes from the filter to the copper fuel pipe, they must have got worse last night as I did not notice a fuel leak at the weekend !
Makes sense as my economy was very poor too.
The rubber fuel pipe extension needs replacing (fuel spurting out), a simple job I know, but can I just confirm that the main fuel pipe feed that runs parallel to the outrigger is indeed copper and that all I will need is replace about 1 foot worth of rubber fuel hose that connects from the fuel filter to the main fuel pipe ?
I ask as I did not get under the car last night.
Many Thanks

Thanks Mark, what diameter should the fuel hose be that goes from the filter to the copper pipe please ?
Hi Mate...I have just checked with a filter that i have spare and a reel of 5/16ths fuel hose..Its a tight fit so it should be that...Shame your not nearer or i would cut you off some...ZigaGassing Station | Wedges | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
