Dealer Number Name Plates

I like to keep my Ford Cars with the same dealer plates where I bought it from. I need a front plate and contacted Polar Ford where it came from. The answer off the Parts monkey " Don't make number plates any more" you have to go to Halfords !!! What do dealers not want paying customers coming in their doors !! I had all the documents with me so showing I owned it wasn't a problem. Any answers anyone ????????????

Maybe they just don't sell number plates anymore?

Just called my local Polar Ford, St Helens.
They do sell them. They order them in and you can have Polar Ford on the plates

Many thanks I was did try them but their parts dept was busy !!
