Brakes on a budget

At the moment I have some avid disc brakes on a xc bike, these have been left for a while and have gone beyond repair (according to a lbs). Looking on the internet for new brakes and have seen:

both are on sale at a reasonable price and not one that can be met at the lbs. Not keen on the shop so no to worried about not giving them the sale.

Would ether of these be better than the other, or is the price difference just down to weight saving?

The only difference is the reach adjust mechanism. Fab brakes.

Cheapest for Deore is ribble until tonight when their sale ends, so be quick! Several have bought these recently.

I've just got the Deore's recently (replacing Avids) I didn't pick up on the bargain price above and paid £77 for mine but am still pleased with them.

At that price I may be tempted to purchase them for my "budget build" bike...

www.bikediscount.de have a selection of Shimano brakes at bargain prices, in the clearance bit there's hydraulic brakes from £13 odd.

Got mine delivered today and also the adapter to fit the front one I ordered off amazon, so will give fitting them a bash after dinner... excited to see how they are

That or course means it will rain all weekend though!

Edit... all done, so fingers crossed I can get out for a while over the weekend Feels like there's a fair amount of level travel which I didn't really expect, but I'm guessing that once I ride them I'll find they are just far more progressive and need a lot less pressure than the cable ones.
