After two track days with horrible brake judder I'm now down to only a couple of things that may be causing it. I've found one of the bearings to be a tad loose in the upright so that's away being machined for a sleeve. The second thing is to change the pads as I'm running standard Ferodo's and think they may be too soft? So I'd like to know what you guys are using these days, is the Pagid RS29 the pad of choice for road as well as track? I see plans are selling these for £200 a set of fronts, any suggestions on weather I need to change all four corners or is changing the fronts alone ok?
Cheers guys smile

Bear in mind that its pot luck whether your pagids will squeal when installed.

I've tried just about everything to stop mine, and they still do it, very annoying

Pagid RS29 are the best , I normally find mine only squeak when they are glazed up , hard use on track or de glazing normally sorts it .

Yep I agree it's very annoying when pads squeal, my last Noble done the same and I tried the usual filing the edges, greasing the backs of the pads etc.

Ok I'll get some ordered, is it worth doing a full set or is it just the fronts that are needed?

The people I ordered pagids from (performance braking I think, it's been a while) refused to sell me fronts only!

The backs do a lot of work !! Sorry to say I think it's best to do both !! Jetstream were doing a deal on a full set , might be worth giving them a call too see if they have any left .

Yep change whole set, rears work as hard as the fronts on these cars.

Thanks for the replies, I'll fit a full set it makes sense. I'm also thinking about upgrading the brake pipes to solid like the m400 as I know some of you guys have done. Car should be pretty well sorted for Silverstone then.

Has anyone tried Carbone Lorraine pads? I know a few trackday heros who really rate them very highly.
