The old girl has reached the end of her useful life. I've had 4 wonderful years using it as an unreliable shed and its thrown a suspension error (again) and this time I can't get the ECU to wake-up/respond to read the codes - probably due to a corroded OBD port.

It's a proper old shed. What's the best way to get rid? Drive down the scrappy, or find a specialist RR breaker or ebay it for 99p? Get be arsed trying to sell it.

Shame really, it's done well over the last few winters and I may make a return in the future. Fond memories smile

eBay it.
Some idiot will convince themselves that what they save in buying it for a few hundred quid will off set the funds they'll then have to pour in to it.
I shifted an old V8 Disco that way and got four figures for it, even at 15 years old (the car, not me).
It started out as a freebie from my mum's neighbour who, like you, just wanted it gone so when it became clear that it was a dead horse I was in the same situation. Just needed it gone. But someone was willing to give me money for it.
You just need to find that someone.
Then try a breakers.
Then scrap.

CBA to ebay it - too many tyre kickers and don't really need the lolly, really need the car gone.

Anyone tried this lot http://www.motorwise.com/index.cfm/quote/quote - they're offering £260
