Insurance question

Does anyone know of a provider which will insure a UK registered car for use in Europe on a permanent basis? Most providers offer 90 days, but will not extend it to cover the whole year, has anyone found one which will allow the full 365?

I believe that any car used for more than 90 days in a different country needs to be re-registered in that country - at which point it can/ should be insured there?

I appreciate that but it doesn't really answer the question. The car will not be in one particular European country, just not in the UK.

So if I use my car in France for 91 days per year, I have to get it registered in France? But for the remaining 276/277 days I use it in the UK, which is obviously greater than 90 days, so I then have to re-register it in the UK? And then re-register it in France because I go back for another 91 days?

I don't think that's right somehow.
