Good for you Jonnie. Got mine just before Christmas and finally did a decent 250 miles over the weekend. Job 1 - depress Sport button. Job 2 - depress throttle (any gear will do). Results - massive grins from driver, passenger and anyone you are overtaking !
Have you got the lightweight seats?

No, I must confess that I don't like them - I'm over 6'2 and found the fixed seat back uncomfortable.Have you got the lightweight seats?
I also wanted heated seats

Seems the time for buying v12's at the min. What colour did you go for?
Francis
Lightning Silver.Francis
I'm not mad keen on silver TBH, as my last 3 cars have been silver and didn't really want that colour for the first one! However, I am not going to die in a ditch over the colour - if the deal is right I am happy. This one cleans up very nicely and has a gold/blue hue to it and looks very pretty in the sun. It shows off the curves very nicely too, which I find the greys and blacks seem to struggle with day to day.

Congratulations! Bet you can't wait
Which one did you plump for?
Lightning Silver with Obsidian Black and silver stitch. A very nice example (I did see some real pups!) with some pleasing options to boot.

I had my heart set on a DBS, and very nearly got one before Christmas, but unfortunately lost out on the sale. As it is, I drove a DBS and V12V back to back and was hugely impressed with the poise and crispness of the V12V. I also like that I have a bit more space for bags - my DB9 was hopeless!

Enjoy the car!!! I am now on a shorter countdown... 2 more sleeps! Dealer called today to say that it might be delayed... We had a chat and I hope that the issue has now been sorted! Still it's ONLY a V8 and I shall bow to your superior BHP, torque etc! I think that's also true of our work transport as well - but mine is faster than yours - it holds the RW speed record. I also think we may have met in a nasty part of the world a couple of years ago.
Incidentally, Chris from Reading mentioned your name when I was looking to buy mine.
Trust you can sleep and may the rest of the week pass quickly.

I've not been to the dealership, but I've seen some cars that have come out of there. I remember having to spend 4 days on a car after it had come back from there. To be fair, seeing what the dealerships have to prep the cars and who does it, it's not surprising. I think more people are realising this now and that it takes a bit of work to make a new car actually look like a new car, which the dealers can't do, which is why I've seen an increase in new car details, because people want their new pride and joy to look its best when they pick it up.

Indeed! If I've played my cards right I have finished my time in the sandbox (litter tray?) and, having sold my soul to CFS last year, am looking forward to a couple of years sitting on the bench on the OCF.Incidentally, Chris from Reading mentioned your name when I was looking to buy mine.

Good Luck today - hope the wx holds out for a pleasant pick up! Either way, you know the cliche about training and raining!

All done... brilliant day (separate thread) and I wish you a great one tomorrow. If you think CFS is bad, try working in the MAA.... I will wager you are having more fun than I! As for the sandbox, if I never see it again I will be a happy man!!!Good Luck today - hope the wx holds out for a pleasant pick up! Either way, you know the cliche about training and raining!
Now................ nighty night...................and sleep well!
