Samsung TV Remote Control Interference

I have a strange problem with my TV...

It's a Samsung UE40D6100 (basically a couple of year old LED smart TV).

On some free view channels, when I use the remote to bring up programme info etc the picture goes pixelated and the sound stutters.

Doesn't happen on all channels. Only happens on free view. Does happen when using the standard remote and another remote.
Any ideas what causes it and how to fix it?

So there is no interference unless you use the remote? I know some channels have a weaker signal but haven't heard of a remote affecting them.
