What is a fair price for this Taimar

Does anyone have a clue what this Taimar may cost? The owner wants GBP4000,- and the car is without a V5.

It's difficult to say in this market. Two years ago it would have been £1500 tops but the prices they have been achieving on ebay I would say upwards of £2500 in today's market.

Make an offer you can but try its worth whatever some is willing to pay if its a restoration project your after 2.5 to 3k will be the least of you bills its not what you pay its what it finally costs thats the issue and how you value the end result

You might be right make the offer
Just to help you we paid £1895 for our Taimar as a cat C car 2 years ago however she had a set of stainless bumpers which where not available at that time and are £1000 to buy now so i reasoned that we paid £895 for the car as i would have wanted stainless or chrome bumpers however with the the cost of the new bonnet and screen and the cost of the accident damage we have spent approx 4k to get the car to the point of a car that was not crashed so in hind sight we may have been better starting with a car that was not cat c however it depends on what you want at the end when finally done we will be north of 25k i guess if you can do most of the work yourself you can shave about 8k off that depending on what you want but budget near 20k IMOP
i am aware of the costs of several projects that are going on at present and those figures are reflected there as well in fairness you get what you pay for
