Do you need a big modification to the current box G50-03 ? Can someone help me diagnose the problem. All reviews positive and negative very important.

How much?!?! Geeez, really. Get a TT box, convert to 2WD, add your own LSD of choice and put the thousands of dollars saved towards other mods

Thank You KPT SLOG it has just about the gearboxes. Price terrible, but the box is perfect. It seems to me that, however, is too expensive. Even this will probably be additional costs as high as the cost of transmission

pardon my confusion but I thought there would be two lever arms on the side of this box that where set up for cable shifter operation? Isn't that what is on the rest of the 997 trannys?. Thanks Lee

Hi georg,
don't forget:
You have to redesign the oil cooling system not to run dry, when using this type of box inverted.
If you going to keep the mechanical oil pump, a new oil pickup must be designed, which is a real pain to do propperly.
Better have an external electric oil pump with appropriate controller fitted, then.

Thank you very much. This is important information. I think the cost of fitting the box to my engine may be equal to the gearbox. Well, I have a big problem!
