Full screen Kia ad with flying post-it notes - ugh

I know the site needs to generate revenue but the latest ad I've just seen for Kia was about the least classy bit of online advertising I've seen in ages.

Intrusive is not the word.

Please find another way. Engaging and entertaining ads are more likely to generate clicks and I'd be having a word with whoever does your ad selling as whatever programmatic ad solution you're currently using (if you're using one at all) isn't doing a very good job.

PHers are not likely to be in the market for a Suzuki Alto is all I'm sayin'...

Come on guys, think before you approve these ad's. They are ruining the whole website, making it feel cheap and very very annoying.

Does anyone think this is a good idea when looking at classifieds?

+1 - just blocked completely the M3 buying guide twice and no visible Kia adverts on the page once you clear the screen. Weird and very intrusive.

That very advert this morning has made me download and install adblocker. I know the site has to make money and I don't mind most of the usual adverts but not a full screen one.

PH don't approve these ads individually - if you see the many previous threads about them, it's clearly been stated that the ads are provided by a third party who are supposed to follow certain guidelines.
Ads like these (and noisy ones) don't meet those rules and aren't supposed to be placed on here. Hopefully Garlick or someone will pick up this thread and slap the agency again.

This Kia advert you have running at the moment is just going to ps off your customer base, if you are going to do something like this, then when someone hits the close button on the advert, DO NOT send them to the Kia website to see the same bloody advert, it annoying, lacks any original thinking.

Really? Interstitial ads? On the classifieds? The thing the traders are 'investing' into every month? The thing that the public are paying to advertise their cars on?

I'd have thought this is very short sighted move. I was under the impression PH wanted to grow the classifieds business? Surely that means the maximum number of eyeballs looking at cars.

It gets in the way when us trade advertisers are trying to place stock. Far from ideal when you've just upped prices considerably.

Hahahaha, they put it on the classifieds?, you are kidding me right. How brain dead do you have to be, to do something like that, whoever is deciding your marketing decisions on PH, you need to find someone new.
