I bought my '07 V8V privately last year and although the service book is stamped and up to date (and has AM warranty remaining from Grange until August 2014), it has no paper records.

Is there a central contact that I can ask for it from (paper or electronic), or do I have to speak to every dealer that has stamped the service book?

Thanks in advance!

Cheers - Simon

I think you'll need to speak to the dealers individually.

And I seriously doubt you'll get anything due to privacy concerns for the former owners. At best, you may get redacted copies of service records, if the dealer is so inclined to take the time to do so.

JCT600 won't give you anything.

Grange / Murray's will usually blank the address and owner details then send you a copy - but depends who you get.

As above, most will be reluctant to tell you anything.

I had a similar problem with a DB9 I had. I emailed / rang the dealers, there were only 3 different ones, and asked for a hard copy of what work was done.

Everyone obliged without so much as a raised eyebrow.

Just ring up and find out.
