For a little while I've had a couple of 'niggles' with my Cerb.

First of all the drivers lock doesn't lock, window goes up as it should, and passenger and boot lock fine, but drivers door will just open setting alarm off.

Second the passenger window doesn't work at all, no movement from window when controlled by buttons, and opening the door just opens without the window going down.

The window was my priority, as cannot use the passenger side because of it - inside controls work fine as we were getting change in voltage from the relevant pins in the door/window control box in the boot. Also, was not getting the relay click noise when using passenger controls that we were with the drivers side.

Door/window control box was suspected so shipped it to PS Electrics for diagnostics. Heard back yesterday, and the box got the all clear so it's definitely not that.

I bit of digging, and I found that fuse 23 protects box the passenger window and drivers lock. At that point I thought it was solved. Waited for the control unit to arrive back, and fitted it. Went to check fuse 23 and it didn't exist, but taking a look at the owners manual suggested that fuse 11 controls the passenger window in my particullar fuse box, it was blown, excellent I thought! Off to Halfords to get some new fuses, replaced, and still the problems remain.

I am getting the distinct relay click now when trying to bring down the window though but still no drivers lock, and no movement from passenger window.

Going to try get the door open over the weekend and take a look, but as the problem is effecting the drivers door too, would have thought the problem wouldn't be in the passenger door.

Any ideas what to try next?

... also, strangely according to http://www.thetvrsite.com/cerbera/owners-handbook - the fuse for the drivers door lock is the same fuse for the starter motor. The starter motor works fine so that fuse is ok.

Can't help but think that these two issues are related.

The passenger window is very highly likely to be corrosion of the connectors inside the door. Take the door card off and replace every connector you can find with properly waterproof ones.

Failing to lock the drivers door is a bit more puzzling. The door buttons and boot are all disabled when the car is locked by a voltage switched from the alarm unit. As the passenger door is locking correctly then the alarm must be outputting the lock signal so I would be looking at wiring somewhere between the door button and the control box

The wiring diagrams are here

If it was me....

Door cards off, then work backwards from there. Chances are it is bad connections in the door wiring.

That's my plan, get the door cards off over the weekend, see if I'm getting voltage at the motor, and trace it back. I suspect the two problems must be related though, they started about the same time roughly - though can't be sure as I don't often attempt to open the door when locked.
