Always the way frown Cerbera booked in for an MOT tomorrow at 08:30 and the boot won't open. It's the only thing not working (doors and windows are fine), never had any issues before. But it's dead, pressing the badge gives no solenoid click or latch moving. I have the boot open now and checked all the fuses (they are fine), but where's the control for the boot release?

All pointers much appreciated.

Pull the carpet back from the inside of the boot behind the Cerbera badge. There is an access hole that you can reach inside. There's an arm which may need a wiggle or a squirt of WD40 to get it going again, could be an easy fix.

Call off the cavalry. Fixed.

In typical TVR fashion, pulling out and reseating one (a very random) plug from the windows lock control box sitting on the rear bulkhead caused it to all start working again. In a interesting aside, my windows are now going up and down 2x faster than previously.

Even after 7 years of owning this one - still makes me laugh with wonky things every now and again.

Could just be a loose contact, break out the soldering iron and should be an easy fix.

Cerbera badge attached by two screws under the carpet and it will easily come apart. Just rebuild with just enough tension on the badge.

Enjoy!
