Best sites to purchase tickets from

Im trying to get tickets for my missus to see The 1975's in the next few months. I know its sold out in most venues, but alot of sites are selling tickets that seem to be have been resold by people.

Any recommedations on sites to use or steer clear from?

Probably not much use for you, if you say most shows are sold out, but, in the absence of a direct link from the artist (say on FB or whatever) I'll use Ticketmaster, SeeTickets or Ticketweb for any tix. The former 2 however tend to have higher "booking fees" though - I think it was £7 for one band I saw or possibly even more... madness. Ticketweb I think are not too bad, been a while since I bought straight from a website like this though, usually just use whoever the band/artist promote.

Where are they playing ? , I use my local ticket shop (Bristol ticket-shop) online or in shop,, they charge about £1.50 on top of ticket price, I've used this shop since the 80s

I watched the 1975 about this time last year in a tiny place, think I paid £8 incl booking fee

DO NOT USE GET ME IN!

The worst service I have encountered by a mile. Basically ordered two lots of two tickets for Eric Clapton at the RAH, two of the tickets arrived in plenty of time, no problem, but as the event got closer I called to check where the other two were, told they were on their way, few days later still no tickets, call again and told the same. Two days before the event I called again only to be told they didn't have my tickets.

They refunded my tickets and sent me another cheque for the tickets value as compensation.

They had a tour around the UK but all sold out, and they released an extra date at the Albert Hall in April which again sold out. The gf just got the album and loves it so wanted to see if I could pick any tickets from people that couldn't make it.

I do remember there being a Twitter account which retweeted people who were selling tickets, but it only seemed active at short notice (like the night of the gig) when I last looked. Can't remember what it's called though.

I have brought and sold unwanted tickets on e/bay , always worth a look closer to the date as peoples plans will change
They are playing Reading festival so a day ticket is an option but they aint that great live, defo a band for the girls was my impression

Reading was our other option as well.
