Hi Mate...I have to be honest...Im not a fan of the carbon look in any colour but in contrast it looks good...Perhaps if you could get some bezels then it would set it off really well...Ziga

Gonna leave it in and see I how feel, can always peel it off.

Carbon dash makes the car look a lot more modern as most new cars now have the carbon look on the dash. It looks good in contrast and if you like it, then that's all that matters. I must say it looks very professionally done. Did you do it yourself?

Hi Rik...There are bezels out there that fit any gauge size to be fair...Not sure what you could use around the square bits to make them stand out...Probably need a fabricator....Cheers..Ziga

Cheers Tony.. Yeah I'm pondering it at the moment,
Yeah I've done it myself, it's not perfect but it looks ok,
It's a vinyl Wrap, enough to do it four times over... £5.00!!

Like ya say the contrast works, so may leave it and see how I feel.
I've found a place in America that can do Burr walnut !

Could be interesting!

Just check the finish as American burr-walnut tends to be a bit of a grey shade..English burr-walnut is the best but hard to find now..There are a lot of other exotic woods that are really nice...Ziga

I think it looks great! Really works with the rest of the interior. Good work!

Since I've had mine, my dash has been:

Original wood which was split and shot
Silver wrapped-lasted 6 months as I really didn't like it, somehow it didn't work (silver was too bright and not shiny enough)
Removed the silver and sprayed same colour as the car which I liked but wasn't original
Then bought a veneer kit from hotty which look great but..
I've now removed that and when it goes in for its respray I'm having it all resprayed same colour as the car as I love it!

Keep tinkering! smile

Zig it's a plate over the top, I would like to get the old one out, but it just seems like a massive job, when really it shouldn't be!!

I think flock wallpaper would look better, and be more in keeping with the era the car was made in.

Mmmm...I think mine is as well as i was pulling at it gently in different spots...Mine are ok as they are the replacement plastic veneer but i would love to put some proper burr-walnut in...LCC do such a grand job that really looks the dogs...Ziga
