What is the consensus regarding clutch and brake pedal position ? For all of us building it's just a guess, how about some feedback from experienced owners.

Do owners like the pedals mounted straight up?

Slightly backwards- towards the front of the car

Slightly forward - towards the rear of the car

does it make any difference?

Just had a look through my pictures but can't find any of my set up recently.

You will find that the brake and clutch are different and dependent on the throw required.

You will need a lot of throw on the clutch.

Thanks I will take that as the pedal needs to be a bit forward (towards the back of the car) on the clutch, good to know.

I may be wrong but i believe that despite there being different mount holes there is actually only one position that works for each pedal.

Just checked the build manual.
(Hole 1 closest to driver)
Brake hole 1
Clutch hole 2
Throttle hole 1

OP was for the tilt once mounted but here is what the factory recommended for hole placement

Accelerator pedal= Hole 1 (Nearest driver)
Brake pedal=Hole 3
Clutch=Hole 2 (middle hole)

Personal preference - I like to rest my heels against the mounting brackets, so have them about vertical.
