Thought I'd check here first about to buy a cannon s120

Hi all,
I'm after a pocket point and click with manual controls ( which mostly won't be used apart from shutter speed) good burst mode and for low light shooting oh and good stabilisation.
The cannon s120 seems to tick all the boxes before I pull the trigger is there anything else I should consider first!
Also
£350 from pix mania who I have used before but googling for prices they go for 120 or so less which I'm thinking may be not 100% legit.
Any good trusted sites to look at also?

Doh me and my impatience to spend money. I'd looked at the rx100 ii and ruled it out on price ( basically I'm just no good at taking pictures) seems that one isn't much different Superb pocket camera.
Oh well I'm sure the s120 will be fine for my needs.
Yeah very impressed thanks for the recommendation nit only saved me £100 but arrived quicker no doubt than a uk site I got texts as well keeping me informed. That's how to do it.
As for the camera
It's a solid little piece of kit. Feels quality.
Pretty easy to set up.
For fast shoot I.e the dog running ( yes I am obsessed) I've set tv mode to 1/1000 and burst mode.
Is 1/1000 too fast for a dog? Will experiment
Only other thing I need to read about is focal length in auto turning the ring at front it adjusts that. No idea what it is so off to the web site I go as no manual in the box.
Oh and I've just taken a few pics in the living room very dark in here. Pics came out great. Seems the reviews were right about low light shooting. The Panasonic tz20 was dire in anything other than bright sunlight. So noisy.

The function of the ring on the front varies with mode:
Auto - Focal Length
P - ISO
Tv - Shutter Speed
Av - Aperture
M - Aperture
In essence, its the primary control for whatever mode you are in (the rear wheel does exposure compensation)
1/1000 should be fast enough to freeze most things, you might want to go down to 1/500 or even 1/250 if you'd like a little bit of motion blur but it's easy enough to experiment.

Oh like that ring idea instead off messing with buttons . The one at the rear can be programmed by the look if it. Very nice.
The one on the front can be changed via the "ring func" button but I wouldn't normally bother. I've remapped the "ring func" button to be an exposure lock instead.Cheers.

Right having used it in anger yesterday.
Good tip about the batteries although having said that I did take 2600 pics and two videos ( yes I am sad) in just over 1 battery.
My only criticism is in full auto the auto focus wanted to focus on anything but what I wanted. However in shutter priority it was fine. The Panasonic seems to be better in that. But there might be some settings I can change.
Having said that with the Panasonic and it's mos sensor 99% of the pics I took were rubbish. With this just about every picture came out fine.
1/250 1/300 seems to capture the mut running perfectly and still let enough light in during dusk.
