Insurers

Hey everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone could suggest any decent insurers to try for insurance on my modified fiesta?

Ive been with Adrian Flux as they were the cheapest last years, now i have 3 years ncb however they were only £1 cheaper this year, so not really worth going ahead when ive had another quote from admiral (Prefer not to with them) for £70 less.

Ive tried Sky Insurance but they were completely out the ball park, my best quote is £511 but they can only offer £760.

Can anyone suggest any other insurers to try? I was really hoping it would be less than what ive had so far this year.

Honestly - It is all very lucky dip.

We could throw a lot of names at you - but it is you driving history, your postcode, your date of birth, your occupation.

With an identical car what could be a cheap quote for me - could be a nightmare for you and vice versa.


Spend a couple of weekends on the phone and try haggling.

Thanks for the advise, i will give that a try .

Can you recommend any companies in particular? tried the usual on comparison websites, Adrian Flux and Sky Insurance.

Go back to Adrian flux with your admiral quote, they often speak to the underwriters and try to arrange a price match. You will have to call them, not just use the internet.

Yeah Ive spoken with Flux already as i hadn't received my renewal by post, they have mentioned they could price match the quote possibly, for now though i wanted to have a look around to get some solid quotes before i can go back to ensure im not missing a better deal. Just wondered if anyone had any recommendations for other good insurers as Ive only spoken with the above.

Greenlight were cheapest for me for my modified Fiesta ST. Give em a try.
